Joseph Coelho has officially become our Patron!

Happy World Book Day!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news – the incredible Joseph Coelho, award-winning performance poet, playwright, and children’s author, has officially joined us as our Patron!

Joseph has been an integral part of the Z-arts family for quite some time. His journey with us began when we programmed his unforgettable series Fairytales Gone Bad at Z-arts and across the Big Imaginations network. In 2017, we were honored to commission him to write the poem Theatre is a Rhythm Walking Child for the Big Imaginations Festival. When the opportunity arose to transform his book Luna Loves Library Day into a stage show, we were beyond excited to collaborate with Joseph once again, alongside Little Seeds Music we had the honor of showcasing the world premiere of Luna Loves Library Day: The Musical!

In October 2023, Joseph played a pivotal role in the opening of our Children’s Library, passionately championing the invaluable role libraries play in nurturing creativity and imagination.

We are over the moon to have Joseph as our Patron, as he shares our unwavering passion for storytelling and books. Be sure to follow him on social media to stay up to date on all the incredible projects he’s working on – and keep an eye out for what’s to come next…

Stay tuned!
