Manchester Family Arts Network brings third family fun day for children and families to the city this September to celebrate family across the generations.
Z-arts, 335 Stretford Road, Manchester, M15 5ZA
This Sunday (10th September) a selection of the best arts and cultural venues from across Manchester will come together to celebrate family across the generations.
The venues will be hijacking Manchester’s Central Library’s on Sunday 10th September to bring you an afternoon of free family fun from 12-4pm.
Central Library will transform into an action-packed arts hub filled with creative arts activities including creating memory maps with Z-arts, Pop up Poetry with Manchester Children’s Book Festival, Storytime with Grandad with Manchester Literature Festival and Doodle fun with the People’s History Museum plus much more!
The Sunday Funday event will also feature dad dancing, so get your dancing shoes ready. If dancing isn’t your thing then Heritage Open Days are offering behind the scene tours or join a family tour of Central Library and be given access to secret nooks and crannies.
All this in four hours and even better it’s all FREE. No need to register just come along and get inspired. Find out more online using the hashtag #mcrfamilyfun.
