Have you created your own story yet?

Last month, Z-arts teamed up with the Story Drawing Club, Discover Story Centre, Read Manchester and Stagecoach to bring families from across Manchester a wonderful new creative programme to inspire the next generation of story writers and illustrators. We wanted to encourage people to write about their own stories, embracing the rich diversity of our audiences!

Now that we’ve finished the programme, all of the drawing tutorials by Emma from the Story Drawing Club are available online and below, as is the brilliant new book we have created. This can help you write an imaginative and exciting story inspired by Z-arts current immersive experience The Tiger Who Came to Tea and the adventures of Mog the Forgetful Cat based on the well-known and much loved books of Judith Kerr. Judith wrote and drew books and stories about her family and pets and our tutorials will help you illustrate your story writing book beautifully. You can download your special book here.

You can still participate and if you would like to, feel free to share your creations with us by tagging us and/or using #TigerAndMog and #StoryDrawingClub!
