Z-arts Young Performers have been working tirelessly on this brand new production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Come and support our young people in their first show of this year – expect excellent make-up, thrilling adventures, and a lot of new talent.
Shlomo’s Beatbox Adventure for Kids! (Sunday 12 May / 2.30pm / £6-£9)
World record breaking beatboxer Shlomo comes to Z-arts in May. Join this sonic superhero and become one of his sidekicks in a world of funny sounds, brilliant noises and cool music, whether you’re aged 1 or 101! Suitable for all ages
Drag Queen Story Time (Saturday 25 May / 10.30am & 12pm / £3-£9)
Back by popular demand, Drag Queen Story Time returns in partnership with STUN. Come on a journey as we celebrate the imagination and fun of childhood’s gender fluidity and give children a positive queer role model. Suitable for 3+ year olds.
Mole and Gecko (Saturday 8 June / 11am / £6 – £9)
Mole and Gecko is an interactive rap musical that you (the audience) help create. There are live songs, rap stories, instant poems and a weasel with a serious biscuit problem – what more could you want from a show? Suitable for 5+ year olds.
Stick By Me (Sunday 23 June / 11am & 2.30pm / £6 – £9)
Stick by Me is a a joyful and funny show about friendship and play, and the importance of treasuring little things. Suitable for 3 – 6 year olds.
Hulme Is Where The Art Is, feat. Mellow Baku (Sunday 14 July / 10am – 1pm / £5 – £7)
Vocalist, songwriter, guitarist and performance poet Mellow Baku blends soul, jazz, reggae, folk and blues for our summer music festival! Join us for Mellow Baku’s performance as well as plenty of free arts activities.
