Welcome to the Z-arts festival of new beginnings! Join us for a jampacked week of creative activities to produce our own mini festival at Z-arts! Socially distanced of course… 

We’ll be working on performing skills, dance choreography, making music and creating some fabulous festival outfits that will all culminate in a festival celebration at the end of the week! 

Bring along a smile and some enthusiasm and we will have fun!  

Each day will be a different activity that leads up to the final festival and group sharing!  

There are 2 sessions running each day, from 10-12pm and 1-3pm.  

Please note, if you book for this workshop, you are booking on to the same session for all four days.  Morning and afternoon sessions are the same so please just book onto either 10am or 1pm.

Tuesday  1 June – Dancing into the Week with Helena

In Helena’s session, we will be creating a full on high energy dance routine in our session, with a fuse of of school dance moves and TikTok inspired dance routines. We will be getting the glow sticks out, and creating a dance routine that is full of beans! With the input of the children we will create a routine that inspires a feeling of being at a festival…..the Z-Arts Fest!!

Wednesday 2 June –  Afro-Carribbean Carnival Anthems with Yemi and Jerrell

Make music and write a fun and joyful festival song together, with Yemi and Jerrell.

Thursday 3 June – Let’s Get Festival Ready with Gill

Join Gill for a festival themed making session! Create your own hand screen printed festival flag and stand out from the crowd by making your own festival headwear!  

Friday 4 June  – Dreaming and Signing with Drama with Tabitha

Join Tabitha for fun, games and try out some acting. We will be dreaming about what we want to do when we are older, learn how to say our names in BSL and create a mini performance to show off all the fun we’ve had!
