Z-arts Artist Development Open Evening – In-Person

Calling all artists, performers and theatre makers in Greater Manchester who are making work or are interested in making new work for children and families… We want to meet you at the Z-arts Artist Development Open Evening!

Z-arts is hosting an Artist Development Open Evenings in our amazing Artist Development Studio, in January 2024, with the intention of meeting as many artists as possible, getting to know them, and understanding where they’re at in their careers so far. Whether you’re at the start of your career or have been doing this for some years, we want to meet you.
We’re keen to understand what support artists would find most beneficial. It will help us, help you.

It will also, be an opportunity for us to announce our exciting Seed Fund and a chance for you to ask any questions about it. These seed funds are part of our commitment to supporting and developing artists. As part of this, we are building 2 Seed Funds for artists to apply for to help support them to create new and exciting work and develop themselves artistically.

Z-arts is particularly interested in work by diverse artists, both within the creative team and the castings (where applicable). Please tell us how inclusion and diversity has been considered within your work, in the application. Check out “Z-arts’ Artist Development Criteria” for more information about what Z-arts is interested in supporting.

Z-arts Artist Development Open Evenings

If you can’t make the in-person open evening on the 31st, there is an online open evening on Thursday the 1st February 2024, 5:00pm – 6:00pm. Book below:

There will also be 10 minute online slots for people who can’t attend or have further questions or ideas that they would like to chat about.
