Does your child love creating and making, and would they benefit from accessible, one-to-one tailored sessions? Then Z-access I-Create is for them! Work with an artist, use your imagination to create something fantastic and, most importantly, have some fun this Easter.

Using different art forms, children and young people will be supported by members of the Z-arts creative team to create pieces of new work. Our I-Create programme offers bespoke & accessible one-to-one online sessions for children and families. All these sessions will help them to develop skills, work creatively, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun! See below for what’s on.

Monday 12 April: Pop Art with Kirsty
Pop Art! Choose your favourite pop artist. You can create leaf prints in the style of Andy Warhol or portraits in the style of Roy Lichtenstein with visual artist Kirsty.

Tuesday 13 April: Watercolour Flowers with Kirsty
Paint your way into spring with some splashy sploshy watercolour flowers with Kirsty. Pick your colours and create your own wonderful pieces of nature inspired art.

Wednesday 14 April: Zine-Making with Tasha
Zine Time! Make your very own zine that reflects you and the things you like. You’ll join in some fun games to get warmed up and then get making with Z-arts resident artist Tasha.

Thursday 15 April: Z-access Drama Stars with Tabitha
These drama sessions will encourage participants to create characters within role play and develop storytelling through imaginative play and improvisation.

Friday 16 April: Drama and Drawing with Tabitha
Create your own character and bring them to life with drama specialist Tabitha in this fun and in-depth workshop.

We have designed the Z-access I-Create  programme with flexibility in mind, so children and their families can choose:

  •  The artists they would like to work with from the Z-arts Creative team
  • The art form and activity they like to join in with (visual arts, zine-making, drama and story telling)
  • The time that suits them best on that day (10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm)
  • All activities are designed to last approximately 50 mins, but can be shorter if required
  •  To have art packs posted out to them, book by Wednesday 7th April to ensure packs arrive on time!

All you need to do now is decide who, what and when! The sessions are designed for one child/family and just need you to make sure that for each session one child and one grown-up join in with the activity on Zoom. Session are 121 or for siblings, where one child has an additional need.

Families are asked to let us know about access needs as soon as able in order to give us time to accommodate all requests, for example if they require a BSL interpreter. If you have any questions about these sessions please email lucca@z-arts.org
