We are a student run film festival with the aim of promoting student films from the North. We only show films made by students based in the North as we want to give our support to a new aspiring generation of filmmakers central to their local community.
The festival is to be used as a platform for young filmmakers to showcase their work to the public. It will give them the opportunity to gain an insight into the industry as well as providing potential connections for future projects.
The first day will showcase strictly factual content (documentaries, biopics). The second day will showcase strictly fictional content (drama, comedy).
