Join us to mark 10 years of Big Imaginations and help shape the future of brilliant children’s theatre in the next ten years! A day of celebration, discussion and entertainment.
To celebrate the occasion, we are inviting artists we have worked with, and some inspiring special guest provocateurs to share conversations to help ensure the next ten years is just as successful.
This event is aimed at artists making or wanting to make performances for children and families, and for those programming or producing shows for them. It’s an opportunity to expand your network, develop your practice and help shape the future for the sector.
Big Imaginations are 23 arts organisations who have spent the last ten years dedicated to bringing brilliant children’s theatre to the North West region(and a little bit into Yorkshire), through programming, touring and artist support; bringing high quality theatre to audiences who would otherwise find it hard to access. We’ve reached thousands of audiences, programmed hundreds of performances and supported dozens of local artists to make and tour diverse, relevant, magical theatre for young audiences.
Hear about the work we have done, meet Big Imaginations members and some of the artists that we have worked with, and join round table discussions on themes that we think are vital to creating a bright future for children’s theatre in the years to come:
- Developing your Audiences
- Sector Sustainability
- Creative Collaboration
- The Art of brilliant theatre for children and families
