Arts and culture makes us tick here at Z-arts, and as a charity & organisation we want to continue the brilliant work we do with you and your little ones, even if it looks a little bit different for now.
We have been thinking up fun ways for families to still take part in creative projects and watch high quality theatre performances. With this in mind, we’re excited to share with Arts Award Discover presented by Z-arts with you! Themed on the fabulous theatre performance ‘Arthur’s Dreamboat’ by Long Nosed Puppets, this interactive learning course will give your families a taste of theatre at home, as well as fun activities to do around the show!
We’re going to be staying true to the previous physical nature of our classes and are encouraging your and your little ones to get creative offline, so if you sign up we will post out to your home:
- Our professionally printed Z-arts Arts Award Discover Sketchbook to write, draw and stick into, making it your own!
- A printed pdf with easy-to-follow instructions to help you to complete the book.
- A specially-designed printed pdf activity sheets bursting with ideas to try at home.
- A fun-fact sheet about Z-arts, in case you’re missing us.
- A fact sheet about famous artists, so you can learn about the amazing people on your doorstep!
Gill from Z-arts is going to be our Arts Award Discover Moderator, and she’ll be guiding you through the process, as well as evaluating the award. She’ll also be around to provide any one-to-one support you might need, or deal with any questions that you have, so it’s not something you’ll have to do on your own!
We always want to be as accessible as possible, so if you have limited access to creative tools like crayons, etc, we also have a limited number of Arts Packs available to be posted out for families in need. If you have any more questions, or would like to enquire about Arts Packs feel free to get in touch by sending an email to gill@z-arts.org
