Building 3D Sculptures with Hattie Kongaunruan

This week, our second selected facilitator Hattie Kongaunruan ran a workshop to a group of our Bright Sparks members. Hattie’s workshop was based on creating 3D sculptures using household objects. Hattie is an upcycling artist and wanted to develop a new workshop in this field.

Hattie created a resource sheet for the young people to inform them of what happens when waste isn’t recycled properly and ideas on how waste instead can be upcycled.

The young people engaged with the workshop and are looking at ways in which they can reduce their own waste!

Hattie was selected as part of our opportunity for two creative facilitators to design and deliver a brand-new workshop based on the environment. Facilitators were offered up to a week of space here at Z-arts, payment for their time, support by our team and a trial session with a group of our Bright Sparks members. We selected artists Jamie-Lee Wainman and Hattie Kongaunruan to design a workshop based on the environment.
