Z-arts seeks volunteers who can speak one of the following languages – Urdu, Arabic, Cantonese, Polish or Somali – to help with our Bear Hunt, Chocolate Cake and Bad Things multi-lingual day on Friday 2nd December.
To help us celebrate the Hulme Winter Festival which is on the same day in Hulme Park; we want to welcome our friends & families from around the world and tell Michael’s wonderful children’s poem We’re Going on a Bear Hunt in languages other than English. These languages are some of the most widely spoken in Manchester and we want to celebrate the city’s diversity by performing the immersive experience in a way that’s open to other nationalities.
If you think you could help by giving up some time to learn the story and how to become a Story Explorer on Monday 28th November and then deliver a 50 minute session, with some help, on Friday 2nd December please contact saskia@z-arts.org by Friday 11th November.
