From the wedding of the century to the return of a sell-out show and a festive family fun day, this holiday season at Z-arts is a welcoming winter wonderland for the whole family.

Get the family festivities started on Friday 6 December with Z-arts special Festive Family Jam, then come back and see us again for more Christmas Capers and an adventure into Hulme’s history with The Magic Of Christmas Past Extravaganza (Saturday 7 December). Z-arts will be decking the halls with a free festive fun day, as they go back in time to Hulme 1843. Expect Victorian games, seasonal stories told by characters from Dickens’ Christmas Carol, Christmas craft activities and much more. It’s the perfect way for the whole family to start celebrating the most wonderful time of the year while learning about Manchester’s rich and exciting history!

Next up, we’re inviting you to the best wedding ever, the best wedding yet, the wedding that no one will ever forget, The Scarecrows’ Wedding is coming to Z-arts (Wednesday 11 – Saturday 14 December). Based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, creators of The Gruffalo, this heart-warming and award-winning adaptation is packed with live music and laughter that will warm the hearts of every family who steps into our theatre this Christmas.

Following on from a sell-out run last year, Twinkle Twinkle returns to Z-arts. (Friday 20 – Sunday 22 December) A beautiful adventure in music and light that features high quality puppetry, magical interaction and a gorgeous original score with live music-making for all, join Marty and us for brilliant puppetry, magical interaction, and a gorgeous original score.
