We are super excited to bring you a NEW venture… Fairy Tales on Tour for schools!

We’re excited to introduce our ‘Story Investigators’ program, designed specifically for school teachers! This initiative combines performance and creative workshops, offering a lively and engaging approach to foster children’s interaction with books, stories, and creative writing in both KS1 and KS2.

Our team of Story Investigators is on a mission to explore and celebrate your pupils’ creativity, imaginations, silliness, and fun!

We’ll delve into some key questions: Are the students reading enough? Do they still value the importance of books? Are screens taking up too much of their time? And what about the good old days of make-believe?

During the interactive sessions, our performer facilitators will embark on a creative journey with your class. Through the use of the Z-arts ‘Magic tape measure’ and the ‘Storyometer,’ we’ll conduct rigorous creative testing, measure their imaginative prowess, and present creative challenges and prizes.

The session unfolds in two parts. First, there’s a dynamic performance element led by two performers, creating an assembly-style experience for groups of up to 60 or 90 children. Following this, our practitioners will lead breakout sessions with individual classes, delivering tailored creative workshops.

Our goal is simple: The Story Investigators will only conclude their visit once they are confident that the magic of stories is alive and well within each child. It’s a unique and entertaining way to inspire a love for reading and creativity in the classroom!
