The Cricket and the Mole – Story Trail

Z-arts’ The Cricket and the Mole Story Trail is a way for families to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time!

Tuesday – Saturday

There was once a Cricket who loved to play the fiddle. She spent all Summer playing. Because she played all Summer she forgot to prepare for the Winter.

Collect your free story trail from Z-arts Box Office and make sure to sign up for your library card!

Then head out with your family to Hulme Park (just across the road from Z-arts) on our self-led story trail.

Each section has a challenge and multiple choice question, you’ll find the answer at each story trail station.

Here until the end of January, grab your wellies, coat, and thinking caps!

With kind thanks to children’s author and illustrator Janosch who wrote The The Cricket and The Mole which inspired our free family-friendly Story Trail. Find more of his books in our Children’s Library.

No need to book – just turn up!
