Reducing the risk of Coronavirus and keeping our audiences happy and healthy is a top priority for Z-arts.  The situation is changing daily and we will communicate any changes or updates to our response on an ongoing basis.

Action Already taken

In line with the advice from Public Health England, the following action has already been taken:

• Full anti-bacterial wipe down of exhibition spaces every day. Additional deep clean of exhibition space on a weekly basis.
• Increased housekeeping hours and new disinfectant regime focusing on door handles and other vulnerable areas
• Removal of Lego, books and dressing up area until further notice
• New signage encouraging children and families to wash their hands
• Altering the layout of the cafe to enable social distancing
• Strongly urging contactless over cash at the bar and box office

Schools

• Creating risk assessment to send to schools
• Full anti-bacterial wipe down of exhibition spaces after each school day.

Communications

• Up to date information published on website and social media.
• Any updates to be circulated through social media, website and at front desk and café.

Tickets

• Audiences are asked via pre-show email to not visit Z-arts if they have been to any affected areas or in contact with anyone who they think may have been infected with Coronavirus.
• Audiences are also asked to not visit Z-arts if they develop a persistent cough or fever, in this case they are asked to stay away for at least 7 days.
• All public performances, classes and The Tiger Who Came To Tea and the adventures of Mog the Forgetful Cat exhibition are going ahead as planned.
• If events are cancelled, a full refund will be available.

Staff

• Z-arts staff have been asked to self-isolate if they feel that they are at risk of being infected, or if they have any persistent cough or fever symptoms.
