The Little Prince is presented by Fuel in association with English Touring Theatre and is a Z-arts co-commission.

Broken down in the Sahara Desert and desperate to repair her fighter jet, a pilot meets a Little Prince. As he tells her his adventures, the pilot re-discovers the power of imagination, the importance of protecting our natural world, and the true meaning of friendship.

In Inua Ellams’ magical retelling of the classic story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince comes to Earth from an African race in another galaxy. He travels through time and space seeking help for his warring planet. His journey addresses climate change, morality, and shows how little things can make a big difference.

Children and adults will be transported to brand new galaxies with puppetry, music of North African heritage and a rich Afro-futurist aesthetic.
